We are so thankful and proud to have such a great young man represent our team and community! Go, E! Ethan has started his day 2-0. He won his first match 4-3 and won his second match by fall! Keep it up, E! Smiley wins again 3-0 on the day! Smiley dropped his next two. His first loss was to the number one seed and dropped a heartbreaking overtime match. He finished the day 3-2. Great effort. We are proud of you, E! It's going to be a great year!"
BGHS' Community Service Day Takes Place Next Week!
BGHS Students Participate in Career Event
On Thursday, October 6, several of our high school students participated in a career event at Endress Hauser. After the event, Endress Hauser generously donated $250 to the high school and $250 to the middle school.
The event connected local students, parents, educators and businesses together to raise awareness and provide information about the types of careers and opportunities that exist in advanced manufacturing, and the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related programs. This is the third year for this Annual Community Career+Education Forum for Central Indiana students.
Another BG Education Foundation Spring Grant!
From Hornet Park Teacher, Lindsey Osborne . . .
"We have successfully implemented Lexia Core 5 that the Beech Grove Education Foundation funded. Please pass along my sincerest thanks. This is a picture of the first little Hornets to complete their first levels. I am so proud of their hard work, and they are so proud of their certificates."
