How to Survive the First Days
Tomorrow is the big day! I wanted to write a survival guide for our Face to Face students and parents to help out.
Drop off - Doors will open at 7:30; students will not be allowed to enter the building before that time. Students will have their temperature taken inside the car. If a student has a high temperature reading, the school nurse can take a second reading in 15 minutes if requested. The parent and student may drive to the front of the school to wait, but may not leave school property if they are waiting for a second temperature check.
Students will then proceed to the upper gym to be dismissed to class. School will start at 7:50.
Remember - masks will be required for all students and staff.
Important notes for the day in school:
Students will only be able to fill up their water bottles from the drinking fountains, so make sure they have a water bottle.
Microwaves are not available during lunch.
For dismissal, 6th Grade will be released at 3:15, 7th Grade will be released at 3:20, and 8th Grade will be released at 3:25.
