Pivot to Online Learning
As you know, we are pivoting to online learning. Although we want to be together in the building, I am so grateful that we have this option and that we have maintained online learning on Fridays. Because of this, I foresee a very smooth transition into online learning for Monday and Tuesday. Our teachers are prepared for this and our kids are too. I will be in touch Tuesday regarding our plans moving forward.
Covid Communication- It is important that you are reading my emails in a timely manner and reaching out if you have questions regarding the information being shared with you. This is new for all of us and may be confusing, so please know that I am here to help. I may not have the answer, but I will reach out to find the answer you need and get back with you. Our nurses are an integral part of our contact tracing process. It is imperative that you answer their phone calls and respond to them in a timely manner. These steps are for the protection and safety of all of our Robinson School Community. Thank you for your help as we navigate through this together.
Covid exposure and testing- If your child has been exposed to someone who has tested positive, you need to notify the school right away. If your child is getting tested, you need to notify us of the testing and send a copy of the results to us. If your child is living in the household with someone who is awaiting test results because that person is either symptomatic or has been exposed to someone who tested positive, your child should stay at home until the test results are in and negative. These measures should be followed even if your child is in the At Home Learning Program.
Please take a moment to watch this informative video from our Nurse Stowers
Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, or if we can provide support in any way. Thank you for your partnership in keeping the Robinson community safe.

Covid Communication and Quarantine Clarification
If you receive an email/text/call from me with Covid in the subject line it is imperative that you read/listen to it. It will likely have information regarding your child's ability to continue in person learning due to a possible exposure. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
Information from the CDC website
Quarantine or isolation: What's the difference?- click to view short video
Quarantine keeps someone who might have been exposed to the virus away from others. People in quarantine should stay home, separate themselves from others, monitor their health, and follow directions from their state or local health department.
Isolation keeps someone who is infected with the virus away from others, even in their home.
