A Note from the Principal
Dear Families,
In a little over a week, we will kick off Catholic Schools Week 2020 with Mass on Sunday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. Following Mass, join us for our Open House, the Athletic Association Pancake Breakfast, and the Scholastic Book Fair. The theme from last year continues: "Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed." Our Open House is for current parents as well as prospective parents, so please invite a family member or friend who might be interested in our school. Don't forget we have a New Student Referral Program where you can earn a $100 tuition credit next year for new students who enroll. Thank you to those who have already filled out a referral, and we look forward to sharing what makes SPB such an amazing school and parish community with prospective students and families!
Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is a busy but exciting week for our students, faculty/staff, and families. It is an opportunity for our school as well as Catholic schools across the country to celebrate our students, our families, and our school. Be sure to check out the CSW Calendar of Events, and we hope that you will be able to join us at one of the Masses, our Open House, Science Fair Awards, or the fourth grade Wax Museum. We are thankful that you value Catholic education!
Peace and blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal
Preschool/Kindergarten Registration
Preschool and kindergarten registration packets for the 2020-2021 school year are being sent home today, so please be on the lookout for them in your child's bag. Our preschool tends to fill very quickly, so it is imperative that you return the packet as soon as possible to ensure a space is reserved for your child. Completed applications, along with the registration fee, will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis.
Additionally, if you have another child you would like to enroll for preschool or kindergarten for 2020-2021, please contact the school office at office@saintpaschal.com to request a registration packet. Thank you for your cooperation.

Catholic Schools Week 2020
We will be Celebrating our Nation during Catholic Schools Week on Thursday, January 30th. One way we would like to do this is by honoring our active military members during morning prayer.
Please send us the names of friends or family members who are currently serving our country in the United States Armed Forces so that we can honor them. Our broadcast booth announcers will read these names during prayer, and we will also have them displayed on our green screen.
Names can be sent to Mrs. Klepcyk at sklepcyk@saintpaschal.com by Tuesday, January 28th. Thank you!
Rev. John Thomas Lane, SSS, Selected as the 2020 Distinguished Graduate
Father Lane was nominated by Mrs. Beth Mennel, the Distinguished Graduate of 2018, and was chosen by the Distinguished Graduate Committee from the nominations received. Father Lane will receive his award at the closing Catholic Schools Week Mass on Friday, January 31 at 9:00 a.m. Please join us to congratulate him on this honor.

We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Free Screening of How Not to Die by Dr. Michael Greger in the Parish Life Center on January 30, 2020 @ 6:30pm.
This event is a free screening of Dr. Michael Greger’s 2016 presentation, “How Not to Die: The Role of Diet in Preventing, Arresting, & Reversing Our Top 15 Killers.” "In his rally cry of a talk, Dr. Michael Greger, a physician, New York Times bestselling author, and internationally recognized speaker, outlines the best evidence-based diet based on the latest in peer-reviewed science that can not only help improve overall health but can also reverse effects of common diseases such as heart disease, a number one killer among North Americans. Drawing parallels between how we dealt with smoking in the past to how we’re dealing with nutrition today, this talk will have you reaching for more plant based food options and not asking ‘where’s the beef?’." - Ideacity
The presentation will be followed by a short trivia game.
PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Michael Greger will not be present at this event, but it is supported by NutritionFacts.org.
