End of Year Summatives....
ALL STAFF: I know, it sounds crazy but we are inching our way towards the end of year summative conferences. One thing you will need to complete is the Reflection in the TKES platform. If you click on the link that says PSC Professional Learning Goal/Plan, the click on PSC Professional Learning Goal/Plan Reflection. You just need a few sentences about your growth goal for the year. Please have this completed before you come for your end of year conference.
This includes all Contributing Professionals - Paras, Speech, etc. This is anyone who participates in a PLC on Mondays!!!
Welcome...

EdSummit Announcement
We are excited to announce our 3rd annual EdSummit for July 16 and 17 at Lambert High School! This 2-day event gives Forsyth County educators opportunities to collaborate on, learn about and explore impactful instructional tools and strategies this summer. Look for an email to all district staff next week with more information.
Do you LOVE Onions?
We are beginning a new Fundraiser. It will start Tuesday March 13 – April 16th. We are supporting The Forsyth County Civitan Club. They do a lot to help the special needs community throughout the county. We are all very fortunate to have the support of this amazing organization. Their good works are possible thanks to a dedicated team of fundraisers and grateful supporters. This year, we are asking for your support with their biggest and most profitable Civitan fundraiser.
Here we go…. Civitan Club is selling 10 pound bags of Vidalia Onions. This is the primary fundraiser for the year and provides the money for so many meaningful activities in the community for our special needs population and those in need. The onions are the freshest you can buy, coming from the ground straight to you. They will last for quite some time also, the entire summer long and beyond. We’d like for everyone to consider purchasing a bag or two. Imagine the difference they could make if all elementary school staff supported this cause.
The cost of a bag is just $12.00
Cash or check made out to Forsyth Civitan club
Delivery is scheduled for May – exact date unknown right now… depends on weather
This will be discussed further at the Staff Meeting and there will be an email giving some more information.
Stay tuned… Dina McCavitt
