Virtual Independent Study Program (VISP) - Student of the Month Awards Ceremony
The VISP had their first "Student of the Month" award ceremony on Friday, October 29th Awarded students will be mailed out a certificate along with a Carl's Jr combo meal certificate.
The VISP Program also had the the Halloween Drive-Through which happened on October 29 as well.

HARTNELL COLLEGE SOLEDAD CENTER GRAND OPENING
The Soledad Hartnell College Center Grand Opening was held on Saturday, October 23 , 11am - 1pm. Our district was well-represented at the event. The San Vicente Dance Team, Soledad High School Band and the NJROTC performed at the event. Student artwork from Rose Ferrero, San Vicente, Jack Franscioni, Rose Ferrero, and Main Street Middle Schools was on display. Soledad High School Interact Club members helped serve lunch.
PARENTSQUARE
This month, our District is rolling out a new parent messaging system ParentSquare. ParentSquare will enhance communication between the district, school sites, teachers and parents. Training of team members is ongoing.
SOLEDAD HIGH SCHOOL BAND CONCERT
On October 28, the Soledad H.S. Band performed an outdoor concert which featured music from Disney’s Fantasia and Grim, Grinning Ghosts! Art from SHS students was also on display.
SOLEDAD SPOOKFEST
The annual Spookfest was held on October 31. The district hosted an informational resource table at the event.
RED RIBBON WEEK
Our District participated in Red Ribbon Week, October 23-32. There were numerous activities promoting a drug-free message.
Soledad Rotary Interact Club Meeting
The Soledad Rotary and Soledad High School Interact Club held a joint meeting on November 4. Rotary members praised the Interact students for their service including tutoring services to elementary students.
