Influenza is a viral infection. Some symptoms include fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, runny nose, headaches, etc. The best way to prevent influenza is to get a vaccine.

How is influenza transmitted?

Influenza spreads from person to person. Droplets and small particles produce when an infected person sneezes or coughs. Seasonal epidemics is when influenza spreads rapidly.
