Reading
Fluency Homework: Louis Armstrong is due tomorrow. Camels will be due on 11/21/16.
Math
Lesson 5.3: Problem Solving using the Distributive Property (two days)
Lesson 5.4: Multiplication Strategies with Multiples of 10
Lesson 5.5: Multiply 1-Digit Numbers by Multiples of 10
Chapter Review will be on Thursday. Look for pages 293-298 to use as a study guide. We will do these together in class before sending them home for review.
Science and Social Studies
Locating Landforms in North America is our current topic in Social Studies.
Collections and Giving Opportunities
1. Coins for Timothy Hill Children's Ranch in New York. This is a class project we do each Christmas. Deadline: 11/30/16
2. Can Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Our very own Jake is taking the lead on this service project. Deadline: ongoing
3. Christmas Stockings and Stocking Stuffers for ARK Angels in Pegram. This is an elementary and middle school service project. Donations need to be in by 11/21/16.
4. Art Supplies for Vanderbilt Patients are being collected by the Fourth Grade Girl Scouts Troop. There are collection boxes outside the office and Fourth Grade classrooms.
5. Box Tops for Education. Ongoing throughout the year.
