Industrial revolution was late and slow arrived likes the Basque Country, Catalonia and the large cities.
Most of the population still worked with underveloped.
Modern forms transport, like the railway, didnt appear until the second half of the century

Bourgeoisie became rich and also became the dominant social class
Industrial Revolution brought serious social problems such as harsh working conditions child exploitattion in factories. In rural areas, peasants lived in extreme povertry, were the reason for the political demands.
