If you are interested in helping, please contact Julie Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3rd Grade is in need of Paper Towel Tubes
When you use a roll of paper towels at home, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could send the tubes to Pope to the attention of 3rd grade teachers by January 25th. Every bit helps!

Box Tops Update
The PTO would like to thank Andrea VanSickle for all of her help with Box Tops for the last year and a half, she is taking some time off to care for her family.
Please welcome Staci Dauphine as the new co-chair along with Heather Gural.
Also, if you find that you have more time on your hands and would like to help out more around campus, please contact Adrienne Whitman, email@example.com to find a good fit.
We’re trying to make sure that our volunteer rosters are accurate and that we don’t agree to take on jobs if we don’t have the people to volunteer for those positions.
We appreciate everything you do for Pope!
Have you signed up for Amazon Smile?
Amazon has a great program to give back to Pope! If you are an Amazon customer, you can use smile.amazon.com to shop and the company will donate 0.5% of the purchase price back to Pope. There is no cap on the amount Amazon will donate and almost every physical product sold by the company is eligible, which means tens of millions of items. Digital goods are not included.
Everything else about the Amazon online shopping experience stays the same, including Prime, the shopping cart, wish lists and shipping options. The prices will also be the same.
To direct your Amazon account to support Pope please follow these steps.
- Login to Amazon like you always do.
- In the search box, type in Amazon Smile
- This will take you to a page that says ‘Choose one of our Spotlight Charities’, right below that is a search box that says ‘Or Pick Your Own Charitable Organization’
- In that box, type in Pope Elementary Parent Teacher Organization
- Next add Pope to your account.
After you have your Amazon account linked to Pope Elementary Teacher Organization, you can start shopping. Make sure you log into smile.amazon.com and you should see under the search box ‘Supporting: Pope Elementary Parent Teacher Organization’.
Cleaning Out Closets?
Did you know that you could earn money for Pope by donating your old clothing? Pope is now setup on www.Schoola.com for donations.
Please create an account. Then from the main page, click "Donate clothes" at the bottom of the page and then search for Pope and select Pope from the list. From here you can request a pre-paid bag that will be mailed to your home and you can send in your gently used clothing and accessories.
Schoola will then list these items for sale on their website. 40% of proceeds from each sale go to Pope, helping to keep and expand programs for our kids.
Save the Date!
Pope Spirit Night at Kendra Scott in City Centre will be on Tuesday, April 26 from 6-8pm, right in time for Mother's Day. If you can't make it to the store to shop, they will accept phone in orders.
We will send out more information as the date approaches.
