Thirteen Reasons Why
“I wanted people to trust me, despite anything they'd heard. And more than that, I wanted them to know me. Not the stuff they thought they knew about me. No, the real me. I wanted them to get past the rumors. To see beyond the relationships I once had, or maybe still had but that they didn't agree with.
This quote represented this book really well because this book was about the struggles that Hannah Baker went through before she killed herself. She wanted people to stop believing the rumors and get to know her for the real her and not for everything everyone made up about her.
“Everything, effects, everything."
This quote definitely sums up the whole book because Hannah's story shows that there is not one specific reason why she killed her self but thirteen and her message even if you say just one mean thing to someone or do one thing to effect somebody's lives in a negative way, you don;t know what that person is going through and it can make a bigger impact on the person than you thought it would.
