PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Spry Families,
Fall is the time to enjoy the changing of the seasons. We have celebrated so many victories as a building with the coming back to school, the return to sports and musical activities, clubs, and being here together. Soon sports will be changing, the marking period will be coming to an end and a new one will begin.
As we continue forward, it’s a good time to remind our students just how important respect is.
Please continue to reinforce these important reminders to your child(ren), as we are at Spry MS are doing as well:
While inside of Spry MS, wear your mask over your mouth and nose.
Show kindness at all times - including in the cafeteria and hallways.
Keep hands to yourself
Phones Off & Away all day.
Make decisions based on what's right, not who you like.
Be respectful with your words and actions.
These behaviors help keep us safe and will help to make an even more positive respectful environment. We appreciate all the support from our families. Have a wonderful and safe weekend!
Sincerely,
Jackie

Picture Make Up Day
Red Ribbon Week is October 25 - 29, 2021
Halloween Dress Up Expectations
During each lunch period, we will have a costume contest on October 29th.
Halloween is quickly approaching and the staff at Spry would like to continue our tradition and allow students to dress up, if they would like to. It is not expected or required that all students dress in costume.
1) It is expected that Friday, October 29, 2021, will be a regular day of instruction.
2) All costumes must be appropriate for the school day.
3) All students must continue to wear a required face mask over their nose and mouth.
Students:
Your costume must allow you to be able to read, write, type, and see the board.
Costumes must meet the guidelines of the Webster Central School District dress code. For example, undergarments may not be worn as outerwear just because it is Halloween. Look in the mirror. A general rule, if you have any questions about your outfit, don’t wear it! Shoes or sneakers must be worn at all times. Slippers or socks are not appropriate for the school building due to safety issues.
Masks over the whole head are not to be worn on the school bus, in the hallways, or in class. Whole head masks can only be worn during the lunch competition. Each lunch period, students who wish to be part of a contest will have a chance to win a gift card.
A costume is something that is worn, anything that is carried is not acceptable. Any type of pretend weapon is also not allowed.
Please use common sense and good judgment.
REMEMBER, IF YOUR OUTFIT IS DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO CHANGE.
