Attention 6th Grade Parents:
Over the next several weeks, Nurse Thornton will be going through shot records and if any immunization is found to be missing, this letter will be mailed home. You can email, fax or drop off an updated copy of your student’s shot record to the school at any time. The updated shot record is not due until schedule pickup in the fall. Please note that your student will not be able to pick up their fall schedule without an updated shot record on file and your student will not be allowed to attend school without an updated shot record on file.

Flu Notification:Parents, please let the school know if your student has been diagnosed with the flu and what type. You can email the data clerk firstname.lastname@example.org or the nurse email@example.com with the information. Please make sure the doctor’s note states all dates your student has missed or will miss. The doctor’s office can also fax the note to 469-633-4650.
Big thanks to the PTA for bringing Keith Davis, former NFL Giants player, to talk to students about character development and self-discipline. Mrs. Duffey had high praise for him, by saying that his “message of DREAM BIG and say YES to your dreams really resonated with our students…[his] feats of strength and stories about overcoming hardship kept the students engaged. Some of our toughest students were in tears!”
Be sure to ask your child about the presentation and see what they thought!
Keith Davis and Germard Reed remind our students to say YES to their dreams!!
Special Olympics for Basketball is today!! Have fun Cougars!
