Take Five

SEPTEMBER 19, 2022
Happy Monday, Cardinals!
Fall begins this Thursday, and while the next few days will feel like summer, there is wonderful fall weather waiting for us at the end of this week! And next week is HOMECOMING, so there are lots of things to be excited about!
FOLLOW-UP FROM LAST WEEK:
- STAFF TAILGATE-Friday, October 7th will be Educator Impact Night at the home football game. We'd love to celebrate you (and your family) with a tailgate-style meal (hamburgers/hot dogs, chips, and cookie) prior to the game. During halftime, we will also take a moment to recognize all of our outstanding staff members! If you didn't complete this form last week, please do so by the end of this week.
Have an AMAZING week,
Angie Lawson

HOMECOMING INFO
Thanks to CHS principal, Jenny Corson for putting together this Homecoming newsletter!
Inside you will find everything you need to know about Homecoming 2022. Please be aware that this link will be updated so check back throughout the week.
CALLING ALL ROYALTY
As we prepare to celebrate Homecoming, we thought it would be fun to highlight those staff members who were Homecoming royalty when they were a high school student.
If you were ever nominated as a Homecoming candidate during your high school days please email alawson@clintoncardinals.org (you did not have to attend Clinton High School during high school, this is for everyone regardless of where you attended high school).
CARDI-CARE PROMISE
The district is fortunate to have two Cardinal Vans that can be used by staff when attending out-of-town school events. While this is a nice "perk" to the job, we all need to do our part to ensure that the vans are well taken care of and returned in good condition.
Mr. Stone's Automotive Technology students recently performed an oil change, multi-point inspection, and detail on each van. Unfortunately, the vans were VERY dirty when they received them (see BEFORE pictures below). The students worked very hard on the Cardinal vans, and now we need to do our part.
Please see The CardiCare Promise document and help us keep our vehicles looking great!
Also, if you get the chance, please take the time to thank the CTS Automotive students. Direct any CardiVan questions to Mrs. Heistand, Mr. Johnson, or Mr. Stone and remember to follow “The CardiCare Promise”.
