BHMS Principal's Update 5/24/21
End of Year Activities, COVID Updates, WTHS Sports, Surveys
We need your help more than ever. Just as in any year as it gets close to the end of the year, Memorial Day is approaching, and the school day, week, and year seem to be long, we call upon the teachers and parents to help push the kids through. This year is even more daunting as students have had an arduous 15 months of their world being turned upside down. Some students are losing focus and making poor decisions whether it is in school or in the community. Some are forgetting that the finish line isn't here yet. Some have forgotten that they need to represent Bulldogs in and out of school. We need to keep reminding our students that academic perseverance, service to others, and kindness is how a Bulldog must begin and finish a school year.
There is no doubt that this is a hard year, and there is no doubt that the race has been long. Let's finish the race and if we stumble, we need to pick each other up so we can be strong together and finish on top. This is what Bulldogs do and what we need to continue to remember the importance of lifting each other up in times of stress and uncertainty.
In this newsletter, we are starting to give some more specific information about the end of year. Many of you will have a busy end to the year, especially 8th grade parents if you have been invited to leadership, honors, and recognition ceremonies.

Building Better Bulldogs (3Bs) Mission and Vision
This pandemic has created so many questions and concerns for students that are well beyond academics. We are committed to providing a safe environment where students can express themselves as they question the ebb and flow of their world around them. Please see below our affirmations about Buidling Better Bulldogs and the people we as Bulldogs aim to be.
Also included is below is correspondence from Mr. Bollendorf regarding the district stance to how to help students navigate this time.
