Take Some Time Out of Your Busy Schedule and Schedule in Some Time for a School Outings!!!

Come out and join us for some fun. Meet PA Virtual Staff, make new friends, see old friends and get into the school spirit. Let's get our kids excited about learning!!!

***Mom, Dads and Adults we even have a craft for you. Please bring an old flat surface glass that you can paint. We will bring a few extra glasses but if you have any extra glasses in your kitchen please bring them for someone that may not have a glass. It is a blast and I am no Picasso but even I can paint a glass. This is a great way to meet new people and get involved.

We will also begin our collection of canned and boxed food and new socks for the homeless. You may also begin your own collection of box tops and soda can tabs that we will be collecting at a a later date.

Price-Free for all

Lunch-Please bring brown bag lunch and drink. You may bring something to offer on our share table. Families often bring a salad, or dessert to share.

  • In consideration of those who suffer from peanut allergies we ask that no peanut production be brought to school events.
  • No dogs or other animals at school events
  • No balloons at school events
  • No Smoking at school events

ChildProtect Photo ID Event

Mutual of Omaha is sponsoring a ChildProtect Photo ID event. You will receive a free high-quality photograph of each child and an ID booklet in which you can record their vital statistics, including fingerprints and dental records. The booklet is designed to give you information that authorities will need if a child goes missing.

Purpose of Outing: Social

Learning Objectives:

  • Students will have opportunities for socialization
  • Students will have opportunities to engage in Physical Fitness
  • Students will have opportunities to foster friendships
  • Students will have the opportunity to engage in school spirit
  • Parents will have time to ask questions and get assistance from teachers and parent ambassadors as well as veteran parents

On Line School (OLS) Hours:

· OLS time: 90 minutes of Language Arts & 90 minutes of PE

Please include student's name, grade, teacher, name of parent attending and names of all other family members and friends attending. Please email me from your parent school email so I can notify you of any changes that may come up. Always check black board announcements and school email before leaving for any school outing for cancellations due to inclement weather.

From North and South Interstate 81

Take exit 170B off I-81 (Wilkes-Barre)
Pick up Route 309N towards Wilkes-Barre/Dallas
Follow directions from Route 309N below

From Interstate 80 and points East

Take I-80 West to I-495 PA Turnpike and go North
Proceed approx 15 miles North toward Wilkes-Barre
Wilkes-Barre/Bear Creek will be your first exit, take exit and follow from PA Turnpike below

From Interstate 80 and points West

Take I-80 East to Route 81 North
Take exit 170B off I-81 (Wilkes-Barre)
Pick up Route 309N towards Wilkes-Barre/Dallas
Follow directions from Route 309N below

From PA Turnpike (Northeast Extension

Take exit 36 and make a left onto Route 115N towards Wilkes-Barre
Proceed down the mountain and 115N turns into 309N
Follow directions from 309N below

From Route 309N

Get off exit 3 (River St./Plains) and go left off exit onto River Street (light there)
Proceed approx 2 miles until 7th traffic light (Market St)
Make a right onto Market Street bridge over the Susquehanna River
After the first light immediately after crossing the bridge, get in your left turning lane
Make a left into Kirby Park
Follow the road around and turn left into the parking lot
Pitch is on the other side of the parking lot to the left
