Parenting Through Transition
Wednesday, May 6th, at 7pm
Bristow Choir Room
When our children transiton to the next year there are always questions that parents have about what to expect or how to handle certain situations that are different from the previous year. Laura Wilson is offering a one hour informational evening for all parents who are transitioning their child into another year. Please bring your questions and enjoy an evening worth hearing.
Fundraiser for Nepal
From Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 8th, Mrs. Gengras and Dr. Pelliccioni, together with a group of students , will be collecting clothing and non-perishable food items to be sent to families in Nepal. bring all donations to room 322.
The 6th grade team invites you to the May 3rd, Walk for Hunger.
Come and enjoy a wonderful walk with the Bristow Community, sponsored by the 6th grade team. The walks starts and ends at Hartbeat Park near the Bushnell and begins at 12:30pm for check-in.

SBAC Testing continues on May 4,5, and 14, 15.

May 22nd is our Lake Compounce Field Trip for 8th graders.

Students who are involved will be going to 6 flags after the music program.
Summer Opportunity -Exploring robotic/genetic techniques/systems.
The Connecticut Schience Center's Teen Innovation Program, provides a free 4 week program for 8th graders to collaborate with other local teens. If your 8th grader is interested, please contact Jilliam Beans, Program Coordinator at the Science Center at 860-520-2141. applications are due May 29th, 2015.
