Testing season is upon us!! Even though only Juniors will be testing this week, ALL Braves will have a block schedule over the next couple of weeks. Please be sure to see below for the full schedule below.
Prom is THIS WEEKEND, if your student has not purchased tickets yet, please be sure they fill out the PROM FORM from their school account. Last day to purchase tickets will be Friday, April 8 during second lunch (NO LATER). Students must have filled out their prom form by Thursday at the absolute latest and received a pass or a meeting request from Mrs. Skiles in order to purchase their ticket so make sure they do not wait until the last minute.
Prom will be held at the Nixon Library on Saturday, April 9 from 7pm - 11pm.
Parent Events this week:
1. ELAC (English Language Advisory Council) Tuesday, April 5 in room 25 @ 6:00pm
2. Parent Support Group with DJ Johnson Tuesday, April 5 in the library @6:30pm
Each year, our district surveys thousands of stakeholders to gather input about the services we are providing families and students. This information contributes to the development of our annual Local Control and Accountability Plan, a plan that outlines the services, supports, interventions, investments, and more that we make to provide the best possible education for all of our students.
Your voice matters and we value your feedback and input.
I ask that you take a few moments this evening to take this important survey. You can find it by going to our website at www.cjuhsd.net or our school’s homepage. It can also be found by clicking here. The survey only takes a few minutes. It is available in English and Spanish for parents.
Again, we appreciate your participation in this important survey.
Parents: All ALHS students have access to a tutoring service called PAPER Tutoring. Students can access a tutor for any of their classes via text any time of day and get help on homework or papers they have written for English.
How To Access Paper:
1. go to Login | PAPER
2. go to https://clever.com/in/cjuhsd (sign in like you do for Canvas)
I wish all of you a wonderful weekend,
Elizabeth Skiles
