Robert Hooke, Anton van Leeuwenhoek, Theodor Schuann, Matthias Schleiden, and Rudlof Vichow.
Robert Hooke
In 1665 robert looked in a cork and found pros or "cells."
He wrote micrographia or the 1st book telling information about the cells through the microscope.
Theodor Schwann
Theodor thought school in 1838 and he discovered (metabolism) He tried to help Matthias in 1938 with the cell theory.
Matthias Schleiden
Matthias figured out that all plants have cells and he worked with theodor with this. They studied protoplasmic streaming.
Anton Van Leeuwenhoek
Anton was inspired by little glasses there for he got into making microscopes. He made some glasses magnify up to 270x. He was the first man to describe bacteria in 1674.
Rudolf Virchow
He discovered luekimia cell. And in 1858 he wrote a book about the cell theory. He went to work for multiple doctors and went to multiple colleges.
