Raleigh, the capital city of North Carolina, has some great things to offer. Some of the things it has to offer is getting a tour of Capitol Building downtown, right on North Salisbury Street. While you are there you can also go to the North Carolina Museum of History right behind the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science.
Places to visit
Some places that would be good to visit include the Marbles Kid's Museum (If you have kids), a couple of tours, the North Carolina State Capitol , the North Carolina Legislative Building, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the North Carolina Museum of History, the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Crabtree Valley Mall, and maybe the Raleigh Convention Center if there is a festival or event or something.
