8th Grade WWII Research
Mrs. Hayden and Mrs. Kayser's 8th grade classes have been reading Historical Fiction books about the Holocaust. In order to build background knowledge, the students came to the library for lessons about utilizing online databases, nonfiction books, copyright free images, source citations, and research strategies. Students choose their own World War II research topics including concentration camps, world leaders, Pearl Harbor, and D-Day.

Information from Rockwood School District
- Rockwood’s Proposition P is a no-tax-increase initiative on the April 5, 2022 ballot. If passed, Prop P will authorize the district to establish a dedicated annual funding source for technology and safety upgrades as well as cycle maintenance projects without raising the district’s total tax rate. This funding source would eliminate the need to borrow funds and pay interest on scheduled technology and safety upgrades and annual maintenance items, ultimately saving taxpayer dollars. For more information about Proposition P, visit the district website at www.rsdmo.org/PropP
