September Recap
Here's what we learned in September!
Parent communication is very important for your student's success in school. Our newsletters will be coming on a weekly basis! Look for them on Friday afternoons!
Reminders...
Please remember to send in a pair of headphones if your student does not have any in class.
Field Trips - Diamond Dell's permission slip and money needs to be turned in by October 9th. This field trip will take place at school, so no parent chaperones are needed.
Letterland - Please ensure that your student is completing letter land homework each night. This homework prepares them for our spelling test on Friday. It also helps them become better readers.
Math Mania!
This month in math we have been learning lots of skills! We have been using ten frame's to add and have found all the combinations of 5 and 10. Next week we are starting our unit on non-standard measurement. You can help your child at home by measuring items around your house with non-standard measurement tools such as shoes, pencils, pennies, etc. For example, how many shoes long is the hallway?
