We've got school spirit!
Happy Tuesday!
Our school had a blast filming the video today. The background photo might be one of my favorites. Noah expects to have the editing done and the film ready to publish before Spring Break. We are very appreciative of him taking an interest in promoting our school. Thank you for having students dressed in their Husky gear and ready to dance!
On Thanksgiving Day, I'll be sharing short videos on the CSA Lincoln Community Facebook Page that I made this past week with students, staff, and teachers. It is called the Thankful Series. They will be posted each hour starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. I feel fortunate to work with a fantastic community and took this opportunity to show my appreciation to a few of the MANY who have had a positive impact on me. The students aren't the only ones who learn at school, and while I didn't capture footage of all 373 students and 40 staff members, I hope these videos will be seen as representative of how I feel about all of our students, staff, and teachers.
Our boys' basketball team skipped practice last night and helped package toys as part of the Firemen's Cheer Fund. We find the greatest gifts come from lifting those around us and being happy for others.
- No School tomorrow (Wednesday, November 27th-Friday, November 29th). School will resume on Monday, December 2nd.
- Michelle and I will be competing in Dancing with the Stars...Columbus Style, which will be held on January 25th, 2020. There is an afternoon show at 1 p.m. that is geared more towards families, and another show at 8:00 p.m. We went last year to watch and enjoyed it. Proceeds from this show go to support Children, INC. Learning Center and Family School Partners. I've attached the sponsorship information if you would like to get involved.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Brett
