Georgia Milestones Information (from GaDOE)
We are pleased to announce that new resources for the Georgia Milestones End of Grade (EOG) and End of Course (EOC) measures have been posted to the Georgia Milestones website.
Item and Scoring Samplers have been posted for Ninth Grade Literature and Composition, American Literature and Composition, Coordinate Algebra, and Analytic Geometry. Such documents for Algebra I and Geometry will become available in the fall. Teachers of those two courses may use the Coordinate Algebra and Analytic Geometry documents to gain insight.
The purpose of these documents is to provide examples of the type of constructed-response items that appear on the Georgia Milestones EOG and EOC measures in the English Language Arts and Mathematics content areas. These documents are organized by grade (EOG) and course (EOC) and contain examples of the open-ended items, scoring rubrics, and scored/annotated student responses.
These samplers are intended to serve as a supplemental and informational assessment resource and are provided to complement, not replace, instructional resources aligned to the state content standards. In principle, the Item and Scoring Samplers are intended to be descriptive of the types of constructed-response items that appear on the Georgia Milestones assessments, typical student responses, along with scores and annotations. Importantly, these documents should not be considered all-inclusive; they are illustrative only and designed to provide insight into the items, rubrics, student responses, and scoring.
These documents are located on the Georgia Milestones webpage, under EOG Resources or EOC Resources.

A memorandum titled Georgia Milestones Nomination of Educators for Test Development Activities has been posted to the GaDOE website at the following location: http://www.gadoe.org/Curriculum-Instruction-and-Assessment/Assessment/Pages/Information-For-Educators.aspx.
