Respectful, Responsible and Safe - September 30, 2022
May 19, 2023
Hello John Marshall Families,
As we get closer to the end of the school year, we are looking forward to celebrating an amazing year!
Today, Friday, May 19th, we were able to celebrate our John Marshall Alumni who are graduating from Wausau East this year as they walked through our building in their red caps and gowns! We even were able to take a photo of the graduating Seniors with our Kindergarten graduates!
On Thursday, May 25th, we’ll celebrate our Kindergarteners with a graduation celebration at Airport Park at 1:35 in the afternoon. They’ve been working on some songs to share with their families at that event!
On Tuesday, May 30th at 4:00pm, we’ll celebrate our 5th graders at 5th grade graduation. They’ve worked so hard to wrap up their elementary years as they head off to Middle School!
On Thursday, June 1st, our whole school will celebrate the end of the year with Sharpen the Saw Day! Students will get to choose from many workshop sessions that they enjoy and we’ll honor the end of the year with a memory slide show.
We’ve had a great year with some amazing students! We can’t wait to celebrate all of their hard work in the next couple of weeks!
Ms. Amanda Patterson

Dear Families
This letter is to inform you that the District will be implementing a new nutrition software system, called “Titan School Solutions”. This new system has it’s own payment center where parents can make online payments into their students meal accounts. As of May 12, 2023 we will no longer be using PayPams. If you have automatic payments setup in PayPams, we ask that you go in to your account and cancel those by May 12, 2023. Please watch your email on May 12, 2023 for the new online payment website and further instructions.
For further questions, please call Wausau School District’s Nutrition Services Department at (715) 261-0806.
Sincerely,
Karen Fochs
Director of School Nutrition Services

Hello Readers,
I have included a document for instructions on how to get the Sora app onto your devices to keep your children reading. I have also included databases for getting information. Please feel free to use one or all of them. If you have questions please feel free to email me at tstrandb@wausauschools.org.
Happy Reading and Exploring!

Good morning, Wausau School District parents/guardians:
We are reaching out to let you know that the process for summer school medications has changed. If your child requires medication during summer school hours, you will be required to pick up their medication from their home school and transfer it to their summer school site by noon on June 2, 2023. Your child’s health aide will also be contacting you the week prior to remind you of this new change and arrange pick up/drop off times. Please review our medication policy as summer school approaches – Medication Information for Parents As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Nurse Alex Hein, RN at 715-261-0113.
