Keep Montana Green Art Contest Winner!

Jo Kelly was the first place winner of the Keep Montana Green Art Contest for the primary division! Here is the letter that Ms. Nygaard received.

Thank you for encouraging your students to enter our 62nd Keep Montana Green art contest. This year, our Southwestern Land Office received 82 entries from 27 classes in 9 schools from our multi-county area. We are excited to have such a great turnout!

We received artwork with a wide variety of creative designs and slogans, incorporating this year's theme, "Drown, Stir, Feel," and "Keep Montana Green" into the artwork. It was challenging for our judges to select winners or the regional contest this year, because there were so many great entries.

The winners of first, second, and third places as well as honorable mentions, have an equal opportunity to advance in the state competition. State contest winners will receive ribbons, plaques and cash awards. Statewide winners will be announced in mi-March on www.keepmontanagreen.com.

Remaining entries will be displayed during Wildfire Awareness Month in our communities and in our offices throughout the year.

Well done Jo and good luck in the state competition!

Kinder & 6th Stem

Mrs. Hanson's kindergarten class and one of Ms. Foust's 6th grade Tech classes have spent the past four Friday's working together with different STEM stations. Lots of exploring and learning took place and was fun for the students to be able to collaborate!

3rd Quarter Celebration

We celebrated positive student behavior during the 3rd Quarter with a dodgeball tournament!

St. Patrick's Day

Mrs. Hanson's room was just one of the places that the pesky leprechaun visited around the elementary school!
