Good Luck 5th Graders!!! We will miss you.
Return Your Books!
Summer Reading Keeps Those Brain Connections Growing! The infamous "summer slide" doesn't happen if your kids keep reading.
Tumblebooks Library and FollettShelf, our electronic libraries.
Tumblebooks Library is a subscription service that we provide to you and your students. It's got many hundreds of electronic books that can be read aloud to your child. It is organized by age level, and also by Common Core curriculum, like math books or social studies books, for example. Of course there are also educational games. Get to Tumblebooks from our library's home page.
We also have electronic books that you can access from our library's online catalog (instead of the home page, select the "catalog" tab). You'll find it on our FollettShelf . There are many fun and interesting electronic books that you do not need to check out - you just read them on any device!
So many graphic novels, so little time!
Love this appreciation from 5th graders
(but remember my name is a palindrome :) )
Remember to look both directions...
A Heartfelt Thank You for Coming to the Book Fair and for your Book Donations!
Once again we've had a very successful Books, Inc. book fair. Through your purchases, we have earned a donation of over $1200 to purchase books and materials for the library. Additionally, we added nearly $1600 books to the classroom libraries and to Havens Library.
Thanks for the book donations to the library: Juliana and Jackson Thornborrow, Danielle Rhodin, the Vogl family (from the neighborhood), Wyatt Ewing, Lucy Henrich, Evan & Celeste Dickason, the Huml family, Sofia and Tomas Tarnopolsky, Eleanor & Anna Lavin, Alexandra St. Wecker, Charlie Saunders and Karina Patel. If I missed you, I apologize, and please let me know. (The books have been trickling in.)
