Will this change how we think of work forever
Person of the Month
Francis Cabot Lowell
Francis was a Businessman from New England, he saw a very different approach. He created the Lowell System that was based on water powered textile mills that employed young unmarried women from local farms. The system included a loom that could both spin thread and weave cloth in the same mill.

Did he help unmarried women?
Yes, he helped them by giving them jobs that they could not get before. This means now they can support themselves. But the job is very dangerous witch is a down side to it. Overall this will help the women community.
