On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, students at Terrace Middle School are encouraged to invite their parent(s)/guardian(s) to eat lunch with them at school. Aeries Parent Portal
Are you able to monitor your child's progress through the Aeries Parent Portal? If so, congratulations! If not, it could be that we don't have an updated email address for you; or it could be that we haven't "flipped the switch" that enables you to view this information. Please email Principal, Rachel Paarsch, at rpaarsch@lakeport.k12.ca.us or Attendance Secretary, Racheal Harmon, at rharmon@lakeport.k12.ca.us. We will get this done for you! The link to the Parent Portal is here: https://lakeportusd.asp.aeries.net/
Essential Daily Backpack Items
In response to a a handful of parent inquiries re: the weight of their children's backpacks, TMS teachers filled in this Google Doc (below) to explain what the essential daily backpack items are for each teacher at each grade level. Remember: Students are NEVER required to tote textbooks back and forth between school and home. All students have a copy of a textbook for use at home and, of course, classroom textbooks are available while here at school. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1S7tUsjCpb3JS7z77-tlLhWtwC9xTPnXhQjyyQAGxWDc/edit?usp=sharing

Teachers will be discussing students First Quarter grades during Conference Week the week afterward. As always, if you have a question about a grade, please be in direct contact with your child's teacher(s). Thank you!
