WATCH Week is Next Week!
March 6-10 is WATCH week. W.A.T.C.H. stands for: Water, Activity, Tobacco avoidance, calories, and Healthy habits. Each day this week we will focus on one of these categories during the morning announcements. This is just a little snippet of what your children will learn everyday during this week. An adult should drink roughly 8-10 glass of water daily and children should drink between 4-8 glasses of water. By the time a person feels thirsty, his or her body has lost over 1 percent of its total water amount. We will also have a bingo board of fun activities the whole family can do together. For example by leading a sedentary lifestyle you increase your risk for heart disease. As a family you can go for a 30 min walk or plan an activity. Try and see how many activities you can accomplish this week on your bingo board, plus learn about healthy habits.
Cornerstone Elementary, Picture Day is Thursday, Mar 9.
Picture Day Tips So You Can Share The Power Of A Smile
- This picture will be taken using Green Screen technology. Please note that if your child wears green, they may appear to blend in with the background on unedited proofs. This will be fixed in color editing.
- Your Account is a powerful tool! In your account, you can set your email preferences, view, order, save your pictures and check your order history. Log in or create an account here.
If students are wearing masks, please remind them that it is safe to remove the mask for their portrait.
See our safety guidelines.

Attendance information
Cornerstone Elementary recognizes the value and importance of school attendance and encourages regular attendance to help our students be successful through the school year. Please email the attendance office within five days of the student’s recorded absence explaining the reason for the absence or the absence will be marked as unexcused. You may send an email to AttendanceCSE@Fortbendisd.com. For any attendance questions please contact Debbie Lobo - 281-634-6404.
Lunch Visitors
At this time, we are able to have 4-6 students at each lunch have one or two guests join them for lunch.
Since space is limited, we ask that parents share the opportunity to visit as we will not be able to host every parent, every day. We strongly encourage parents to sign up only one time per week if space allows.
Sign Up Genius for Lunch Visitors
No lunch visitors will be hosted on Thursday March 9th, as we will be having Spring Photos taken in the cafeteria.
CSE asks that families sign up no more than one time a week to allow all interested families the opportunity to join their student for lunch.
Please remember to bring a photo id with you to campus as this is required to be signed in to campus as a visitor.
