STAY INFORMED!
On Monday, March 1st we will have all of our students back in the building full time! Students will be able to sit 4 to a table in the lunchroom, as long as there is a divider on the table. The auxiliary lunch room in the theatre lobby will no longer be available.
Seniors: You will be nominating candidates for Spring Fling Week (formerly Snow Week) on Monday - Tuesday this week. Watch for an email from Mr. Jones with the link to the nomination form. ALL MHS students will participate in final voting on Wednesday during Ramp-Up. Again, watch your email for a message from Mr. Jones.
BPA State competitors: Reminder that projects are to be submitted with an advisor on Thursday or Friday March 4-5 during school hours for state competition. Everyone needs to pick up testing information along with your user ID this week in the Business Ed office.
Seniors, if you want your senior picture included in the yearbook, senior poster, and Marshall Independent Look book, they must be submitted to Mrs. Eben by April 1st.
Mrs. Snyder offers Homework Help every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in A202 at 3:15.
Stop and see her and get your homework done before you leave for the day!
Student in grades 9-11: Next week, March 2nd-March 5th, during guided study time, you will be entering your course requests for the 2021-22 school year. Please make sure that your registration sheets are filled out and signed so that you are ready to go. If you have not picked up a registration sheet yet, please stop in Student Services immediately to pick one up. If you need help, please make an appointment with your school counselor.
Minnesota West - Granite Falls will be holding Tech Day on March 25 and 26. You will learn about high pay growth, high demand careers in welding, precision machine, powerline, and mechatronics. Click here for more information or stop in to Student Services to see your counselor.
Minnesota West Community & Technical College is offering $2,500 scholarships for students majoring in the following areas: Manufacturing, Technology, Healthcare, Early Childhood, Transportation, and Agriculture. Seniors: Applications for MHS/Pride in the Tiger Scholarship are now being accepted. These scholarships will be awarded at the Senior Banquet on May 19..
- The MHS Faculty will be selecting the recipients for the scholarships.
- The deadline to apply is Monday, March 8, at 3:30 PM.
- Please be thoughtful and detailed in your responses.
- Use appropriate punctuation and capitalization.
- If you have questions, stop into Student Services and see your counselor.
