Serenity House Hospice

News Letter

Thank You!!

To those who were able to make it out this month for our volunteer meeting! It was great to see so many friendly faces.

To all active volunteers, please contact Heather Mudford to set up a face to face meet. We are updating our files, filling out a matrix and going to be making ID badges complete with pictures!

"Friend's not about who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said 'I'm here for you' and proved it!

'Share the care' certainly made X's and my decision to be at home 'til the end come true. The volunteers were wonderful. Giving, washing, reading, talking... helped X. (he told me) to focus on other things besides his illness. It was a pleasure to have them come in and help me. (us)

Thank you too for Kathy and Sheila. They were Godsends.

We received a thank you card with this positive and grateful message hand written on the inside. This just proves that what we are doing and what we are working towards here at Serenity House Hospice is making a impact. Keep up the good work volunteers.
