FRIENDLY REMINDER - PAC Coffee at Honcho on 10/26/18 at 9:00 AM
Thank you to the many of you who have replied to our invitation to the PAC Coffee. Extra thanks to those of you sharing with all of your Facebook groups and friends. We are looking forward to meeting more of our fellow parents in Clarkston with an informal coffee chat to talk about your needs, experiences, and how YOU want to participate with the Clarkston PAC. Optimistic October
Optimism can sometimes be easier said than done. The idea of looking to the future with hopefulness can be a tall order when we are in the trenches of the daily routines with our childrens' diagnoses, needs, and gradual moves towards independence. These things look differently for each and every child. The calendar below offers some daily reminders to take small steps toward optimism. Oakland Schools Saturday Learning: November 3, 2018
Oakland PAC Partnership in Action. This is for families with an IEP and includes programming for children ages 13+.
Free Workshop at Oakland Mediation Center
According to Oakland Mediation Center, "This highly interactive workshop is designed to impart skills that help the IEP team effectively manage conflict prior to, during and after IEP meetings." Next workshop is December 7th.
