Who was Shakespeare?

William Shakespeare was born on April 23rd in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire and was baptised a few days later on 26 April 1564. His father, John Shakespeare, was a glove maker and wool merchant and his mother, Mary Arden, was the daughter of a well-to-do landowner from Wilmcote, South Warwickshire. I tis likely Shakespeare was educated at the local King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford. Shakespeare died April 23rd on his birthday in 1616

Why is Romeo and Juliet so famous still today?

People like the story and the characters of Romeo and Juliet. People enjoy watching the play and acts of it because it takes them back to a time they loved someone when they were young. There is love everywhere today. Girls love a guy who is romantic and Romeo and juliet is a perfect representation of it.
