JBES Freedom Summer School
As you know, we are still anxious to re-launch in-person programming as soon as the health environment permits us to do so. This summer's Freedom School program will again be operated in a virtual setting. Consistently, evaluations show that more than 60% of participants advance in their reading, making up reading gaps and not experiencing summer reading loss.
The program is scheduled to operate Monday - Friday, July 5 - August 12, 9:00a.m. - 11:30a.m. and 1:00 - 3:30p.m. Repeatedly, we experience some scholars who attend both morning and afternoon sessions because they enjoy the program that much.
