Cross Oaks Hoot

August 8, 2022

Adventure Awaits! Destination Cross Oaks!

We are so excited to welcome our new and returning Owls on campus Thursday, August 11th!

Teachers will be calling or emailing parents Monday by 5:00 pm to introduce themselves.

Please plan on bringing your school supplies when you come to meet your child's teacher on Tuesday evening.

Pre K and Kindergarten, 5:00 - 5:45

1st - 5th, 6:00 - 7:00

Don't forget to pick up your child's car tags from the teacher of your oldest or only child attending Cross Oaks at Meet the Teacher Night (each family will receive two car tags). Even if you plan on walking to pick up your child each day, you must have a 22-23 car tag. Car tags this year are lime green. Red car tags will no longer be accepted. For safety reasons it is essential that we only release students to an adult in possession of a current car tag. If you forget your car tag when coming to pick up your student, you will need to park and show valid identification to the front office. Parent walkers without a car tag will also be required to show a valid id. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our Owls safe.

School begins on Thursday, August 11th. Doors will open at 7:15 and the instructional day begins at 7:40. K-5 students eating breakfast on campus will enter through the cafeteria and K-5 students not eating breakfast on campus will be entering through the gym.

All Pre K students and their siblings will be entering through the front doors of the campus.

Maps of the drop off locations and specific details will be sent to all families.

Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and visit our website at https://www.dentonisd.org/crossoakses

Please feel free to email me at smaxwell2@dentonisd.org if you have additional questions at any time.

The campus will be open August 11th-15th to walk your child into the building, if you'd like. Starting August 16th, the building will be closed for morning arrival.
