Next Thursday will be the KAES Scripps Spelling Bee. The top three students from 4th grade through 8th grade will compete to see who will be deemed best speller at KAES. Parents are invited to watch these amazing spellers. The Bee will start at 9:00 am.

They fixed 'muscle' as they added quotes to dialogue, they sutured the word with the definition as they practiced dictionary skills and fixed the heart as they edited the letter.

Grades will be sent Sunday

Check your email this weekend! Second quarter grades will go out via email this week end. Take time to look over your child's achievement and progress. Teachers are also available if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's progress.

Pre Kindergarten Studies Different Cultures

Pre Kindergarten students have been learning about cultures. This week they learned about Kenya and even got to speek Swahili and try some mandazi sweet bread.

Lunch order is to be placed with the homeroom teacher each day. $4.25 small $5.00 large

All meals are vegetarian


Monday - Flautas(taquitos), patties, cheese, rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, salsa and juice


Tuesday - Nachos, beans, melted cheese, salad and juice


Wednesday - Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, celery sticks and juice


Thursday - Lasagna, garlic bread, salad and juice


Friday - Hot dogs (vegetarian), culie fries, carrot sticks, dessert and juice
