MP Fun Run!
Our MP Fun Run is next Friday (September 21st). The first day to turn in student donations is this coming Monday. Why donate? This is the one big fundraiser for our PTO. The PTO funds all of our field trips during the year, teacher requests, and special projects like the 3D Lab and playground equipment.
We will have daily drawings for the students Monday through Thursday. Attached is a schedule for the actual MP Fun Run on Friday. Please feel free to come out and volunteer by clicking on the following link:

Thank you for your for support and we are looking forward to a great time!
Bikes and Scooters
With the weather being nice, this gives our students the opportunity to walk and ride their bikes/scooters to and from school. A couple of items in order to help us with this:
- Please make sure that your child understands that they need to hop off the bike/scooter once they get onto school property and walk it to the bike racks. This is the same procedure at dismissal. They should walk their bike until they leave our school property.
- All bikes and scooters are to be left at the bike rack. It is the responsibility of the student to secure the bike/scooter to the rack if parents choose to have this done.

Noah's Bandage Project
Thank you to everyone who was able to contribute bandages for Noah's Bandage Project! We have collected 100's of bandages and definitely delivered some happiness!
Dismissal (Reminder)
Please note that the front drive should only be used by our day care vans and busses at dismissal. All car pickup should be done on the South side of our building. If you have a special circumstance, please let us know.
Thank you.
Safety Drills for 2018-2019 (Reminder)
With the 2018-19 school year underway, schools in the district will begin conducting various safety drills. New state legislation has changed the number and type of emergency drills that schools in Kansas are required to hold. The new state guidelines require 16 emergency preparedness drills for each school. Four are fire drills, three are severe weather drills and nine are crisis drills. An example of a crisis drill would include a bus evacuation drill, a practice of restricted instruction, an ALICE drill or other practice around an emergency situation. It’s important to note that these emergency preparedness or crisis drills will be age-appropriate and will look different at each level.
We will follow up with more information throughout the school year with more information about the emergency preparedness drills.
ID’s at the Main Entrance (Reminder)
Due to district protocol, all visitors must present a photo ID to the camera at the front door. Whether you have been here multiple times over many years or new to our school family, please plan on having your ID out and ready to show the camera.
All visitors must sign in at the front office. This will be the same at arrival, throughout the day, or dismissal.
Thank you for keeping our children safe!
