Terrorism.
The world is awful.
Essay.
ISIS is a cancer. That's obvious. And according to Obama, an "evolving" threat. I think first, there is something to be understood here. No person is evil for the sake of being evil. That is a work of fiction. No matter the reasons, anyone who is self aware is ultimately creative enough to justify murder, regardless of the specifics of the circumstance. First off, ISIS is horrible. I mean, they're a bunch of illiterate Muslims in the middle of the desert cutting off people's heads. Never should religion be used as an excuse to do something immoral. It's an insult to the culture. If we were dealing with intelligent people, they would understand the irony and probably not even exist. But unfortunately, we're dealing with sheeple. As isolated as they are, most of the people there have been taught to live within what is "right", and look at reality through a straw. According to e-library, ""Let me be clear: disarming more law-abiding citizens will not stop mass murderers and terrorists," said GOP presidential candidate and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul" (http://www.elibrary.com/). I think this explains alot. We shouldn't be changing our laws, or our way of life as a society, because of a group of psychopaths in the East. I don't think we should retaliate as a nation... EVER. Because how often is it that we get revenge against someone with a good outcome. War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left. I love the quote by Frederick Douglass. "Knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave." If you live your entire life in the shadow of something "greater" than yourself, without questioning its authority, you are a sheep. You have proven that you were born without the mental capacity to think for yourself. So like terrorists and their muslim followers, everyone is given two options at birth. Either to build your dreams, or help someone else build theirs. It also should be understood. In order to become a country, Americans "had" to do some pretty terrorist like things. Slaughtering thousands, if not millions of Native Americans, 300 years of slavery, the colossal amount of murder in Hiroshima in Nagasaki. It isn't possible for any nation on the planet to expect good from the world without being hypocritical. Another thing, who here thinks that what was done hundreds of years ago in the formation of our country shouldn't be considered wrongdoing by the modern American people? To be put simply, you should all be raising your hands. No innocent Muslim should be blamed for what members of their religion have done. Hitler was a Christian, that doesn't mean that all Christians are blood thirsty psychopaths. An ISIS doesn't come unprovoked. I have a piece of evidence that proves this. According to e-library.com "During the 2003 war, depleted uranium was again used extensively, around the cities of Baghdad, Babylon, Karbala, Najef, and Basrah, which was still suffering the effects of the depleted uranium of the 1991 war. I witnessed the A-10 planes for three days delivering the depleted uranium rounds against tanks and armored vehicles near Basrah airport and at southern parts of the city. By some estimates, the amount of DU used in 2003 exceeds the amount used in 1991"(http://www.elibrary.com/). I'm not saying that the Americans who go over and join ISIS actually care about any of the bad we have done against the muslims. These people are just violent psychopaths obsessed with power. What I'm saying is, ISIS and anyone else who hates us, could use "tragedies" like depleted uranium to justify their actions. Here's a couple examples of what the birth defects caused by depleted uranium, look like.
In case you couldn't tell, this child was born with out the top of its skull intact, so its brain ruptured in the birth canal and he/she died. Now I'm going to take it a step further with a scenario. You are born into a poor family, with little food your entire childhood and virtually no education. You're ruled by a theocratic dictatorship, and every once in awhile, the place in which you live is either bombed or poisoned by a bunch of rich people. It's only to be expected that "terrorists" groups would form. So basically, our government has created a virus called ISIS, and there is no known vaccine. Guess we'll see how this plays out.
