NEW CLASSES NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
Two new, one-semester classes will be offered next school year as elective credit. In the fall there will be Intro to Psychology and in the spring Ethnic Studies. Please see your counselor or Ms. Peters (room 306) for more information! Students must enroll in these classes by Friday, May 6.
INTERMEDIATE FILM/VIDEO PRODUCTION 2022-2023
Lookin for a different elective which offers visual arts credit, enjoying the new student driven bulletin, have an interest in video editing, filming commercials, making professional quality videos or just want to be a part of the crew...well then you should join us next year. Questions, see Mr. Carter in Room 402.

FNL SPRING BLOOD DRIVE
Sign-up for the annual FNL Spring Blood Drive! Participants will earn 5 hours of community service for their donation, along with the opportunity for other awesome prizes from Vitalant Blood Services! Must be 16 or older to donate. Space is limited and sign-ups close on May 17th. Come and sign-up with Mr. Sligh in Room 308 today!
Scholarships
SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES ARE LOOMING! There are a few local scholarships left to apply for so don’t miss out. Stop by the Career Center in #208 for more info.
~Seniors~
COLLEGE VISITS: Seniors and juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.
REMINDER THAT SENIOR SURVEYS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, MAY 3RD

Staff Notices
REMINDERS: STAFF: Wear your ID when on campus. Progress reports grading window opens on 5/3 and closes on 5/10. All Ds and Fs must have a comment code and Advisory is CR or NC only.
TEACHER PARTICIPATION: As case managers and counselors are setting up meetings with students with Fs, it is absolutely vital and expected that all teachers participate in IEP, 504 and SST meetings. It is imperative that you provide your feedback and participation...a sub can be provided if needed, just let the case manager know. Please indicate on the calendar invite why you can’t make it if you decline.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and that can only mean the return of potatoes, breakfast cart, and strawberry shortcakes! In addition, New Life Community Church will be treating staff to breakfast burritos on Monday morning.
