The Capitol & The Districts || SAD/CHEERFUL [vie]

Why we chose this clip

This clip shows the difference between the life of the oppressed and those that dominate that group. In the capitol, the people got to live the life of luxury and had everything. In the outside districts they had to work hard for everything that meals were not guaranteed. This would be a good example to show students about a group that is oppressed.

Fundamental rights, especially those believed to belong to an individual and in whose exercise a government may not interfere, as the rights to speak, associate, work, etc

How They are connected

If everyone followed the definition on human rights, then we would not have the problem of oppression. We need to express to our students the importance of treating everyone with respect. We need to make our classroom student centered and not try to dominate our students and dictate what they do when they do it.
