Be on the lookout for the KAES F.R.O.G

The KAES FROG has been hopping around from house to house reminding us all to fully rely on God. You never know whose house it will hop to next, but when he does it is always fun and encouraging.

MAP testing

This week we had our initial MAP test for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The results from this test will provide us with what the child knows and is ready to learn next. We plan to use this to track each student's growth over the year. MAP tests the students' knowledge in Math, Science and Language arts to assist teachers in setting goals in learning.

Chapel Is now being live-streamed on KAES Facebook

I know it is disappointing to not be able to attend chapel with your child this year. We are currently trying to live stream our chapel each Wednesday morning on our KAES Facebook page. As we learn more about how to do this better we hope to provide a better experience for you. We invite you to check out your child's chapel each Wednesday.

(Virtual) Grandparents Day

Another change that has been thrust upon us because of COVID-19 involves Grandparents Day. This year we are not inviting grandparents to physically join us in the classroom but we still want to connect with them. Classrooms will share a short video that can be shared with their grandparents letting them know how much we love and appreciate them in our lives.

Gymnastics Tryouts Sept. 9 an 14.

KAES is planning to have Gymnastics this year. Boys and girls in 2nd grade through 8th grade can sign up in the office to tryout. If your child didn’t get a chance to try out for gymnastics and still wants to, we still have one more day of tryouts. Tryouts will be this Monday at 3:15 - 4:00pm in the school gymnasium. Please bring comfortable modest clothes to change into before tryouts begin. Sign ups are on a first come, first serve basis for Monday, Sept. 14. Gymnastics tryout sign up link is below.

Gymnastics will look a little different this year due to COVID-19. It will focus on small groups and individual tumbling. This focus on the basics will establish a strong gymnastic foundation as your child progresses.

If you have any questions about our gymnastics program please contact Mr. Bradley or Mr. Coulter.
