Ulysses Grant
Ulysses Grant was born on April 27, 1822 in Point Pleasant, Ohio. His father which grant didn't like he sent him off to the army at the age of 17. He was born near the Big lndian Creek at the Ohio River.Then he moved to Georgetown, Ohio,and he described as an "uneventful" childhood. But grant showed great aptitude as a horseman. Grant was not a standout kid and he was shy. He command of all U.S. armies in 1864, and pursued the enemy during the Civil War. In 1869, at age 46, Grant became the youngest president. Grant died of cancer on July 23,1885 at New York, Mount McGergor.
