December 6, 2015
I hope this newsletter finds everyone well having enjoyed a restful weekend.
I just wanted to remind families about two student driven initiatives and some important PCC information.
*Please bring in a packaged food item to be donated to the Franklin Food Pantry until Friday, December 18th
*New, Packaged Toy Drive - Please send in a new toy for the Friends of Franklin Organization who will wrap and give toys to Franklin residents in need until Friday, December 18th
*Be on the lookout for a special Spirit Day next week to encourage our students and add some fun to both drives!
*PCC Announcements and Newsletter - If you are not receiving emails from the PCC and would like to, please email Lois Eppihimer at firstname.lastname@example.org with your child's name, grade and preferred email address.
* Tuesday, December 8th. Spirit Wear orders will be delivered to your child's FLEX class. If you indicated drop off of Spirit Wear to the office you may pick up your Spirit Wear Tuesday afternoon.
* Wednesday Night December 9th treat your family to a delicious dinner at Noodles and Company on Route 140 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. A portion of the proceeds goes to the PCC.
* Friday, December 11th is PCC Pajama Day. Students can wear their PJs and bring in a $1.00.
* December Luxe Hair & Make Up Studio in Medway Mention ASMS when you book an appointment and they will donate 10% of the proceeds of the service. This fundraiser is running the whole month.
In light of our students (current and alum) initiating the canned food drive and toy drive, I found a blog on giving that I have posted below. I enjoyed reading it and I thought it made some great points and gave some good tips about talking to our children about our experiences with giving and receiving.
