Popcorn's Deal or No Deal

The purpose of my experiment is to see which microwave popcorn brand gives you the best deal. I became interested in this experiment because popcorn was discovered accidentally. Information gained from this experiment will be that I will know which popcorn brand gives you the best deal.
An American electronics expert, Perry Spencer, invented microwave popcorn. And he accidentally discovered it because he was around a magnetron. Which is basically like a microwave oven’s first prototype. He had a weird feeling, so he reached in his pocket and found out that the candy bar in his pocket and it was melted. Then later he tried popcorn in a bag and for sure it did work.
This concludes that microwave popcorn was discovered accidentally. And later when he experimented it more he got to patent the microwave popcorn. That is why i chose this experiment because it was discovered accidentally.
My hypothesis is most of the popcorn will be close to the same amount of popcorn and price. I base my hypothesis on an educated guess.
5 different brands of popcorn
1. Get 5 different brands of popcorn
2.Put in microwave for 1 minute and 50 seconds
3.Take the popcorn out of microwave and out of the bag and into a bowl
4. Count how many kernels are in the bowl
5. Get the price of the popcorn and divide it by the number of the bags in the box.6.Count the kernels that you just popped and divide that by price of popcorn per bag.
The original purpose of this experiment was to see which popcorn brand gives you the best deal. The results of the experiment were that boy scouts gives you the best deal.
My hypothesis was is that most of the popcorn will be close to the same amount of popcorn and price.The results indicate that this hypothesis should be considered right. Based on the results of this experiment that most of them are very close but boy Scouts is the best deal. If I were to conduct this science fair project again I would not use butter popcorn because it leaves your hands very greasy.
