NAEP Testing
The Washington School has been randomly selected to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) testing on January 29th. Some Washington School students will be selected to take this exam. This exam is the assessment used to determine world rankings in education. More information about the NAEP exam can be found at https://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/
ACCESS Testing
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has a state assessment for students learning the English language in January. This test is called ACCESS, which will be given to English Language Learners starting in January and ending in early February. The four-part exam tests speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. It is necessary for all students learning English to be in school on testing days. Students should go to bed early on testing nights to rest up for the big exam and please refrain from making appointments during testing times. If you would like to learn more information on the ACCESS, please visit http://www.wida.us.
