Weekly Update
Friday's events included Powder Puff football, Macho Volleyball, Homecoming Parade, and a school carnival. The carnival was new this year and included a silent auction, ring toss, cake walk, and dunking booth. The event was well attended and enjoyed by all.
There was also a fun run/walk organized by AJ Eckmann and all the proceeds will be donated to NAMI, a national organization benefiting mental illness. There was also a community barbecue held in the outdoor classroom.
This week is mid-term for the 1st quarter. Senior and junior students will be attending the college fair at Montana Tech on Monday. As the year progresses, it is important to recognize all the accomplishments of JHS community as well as areas of improvement.
The JHS website as been under construction for some time and any feedback or suggestions on it's continued improvement are encouraged. Please feel free to contact the administration with any ideas or suggestions.
Also, I am encouraging patrons to help improve the JHS District in all areas. If you have questions or concerns about schedules, classes, curriculum, transportation, bus routes, etc., please contact my office. Engagement is important to making JHS the best school.
In closing, kudos to the staff, students, patrons, and community in making homecoming week successful. Thanks again to all staff who provided pictures or information for this newsletter. I could not do this without your support and involvement.
