Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! At M. Robinson, we are ready for our Lions to be on a Safari for Success!

We would like to make you aware that our campus hours will be changing this school year. Details regarding our new school hours (8:15 AM-3:40 PM) are contained within the newsletter. Parents in need of after-school care can register for Club Rewind via the district website. Be sure to register well before the start of the school year to ensure that your child is able to start on the first day, if needed.

We hope that you and your family are staying healthy and had a restful summer. Our teachers and support staff are eager to see our little Lions walk through the school doors with those big and bright smiles. We are truly excited about the 2023-2024 school year! We know our Lions will continue to be successful because of the partnership between our families and faculty.

Robinson, we are seeking parents to serve on our Campus Performance Objective Committee (CPOC), Superintendent Parent Leadership Committee (SPLC), and Special Education Parent Council (SEPC). It is very important for students to arrive on time. We provide WIN (Whatever Is Necessary) or tutoring at the beginning of each day and on-time arrival ensures students do not miss any tutoring or instruction. Below is everything you need to know about mornings at M. Robinson.

*School starts promptly at 8:15 a.m. Students who arrive after 8:15 a.m. will be issued a tardy slip. Students arriving after 8:15 a.m. must be accompanied by an adult to check into the front office before going to class.

*Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:50 a.m. We do not have anyone available to supervise students before 7:50 a.m., therefore for the safety of your child, do not drop off students before this time.

*Attendance will be taken at 9:30 a.m. Students that come after 9:30 a.m. will be counted absent.

This school year, video introductions will be emailed from your homeroom teacher before Meet the Teacher Day!

Due to limited parking space, this year we will have two different times for parents to come visit the homeroom teacher's classroom. The times are 2:30 - 3:30 and 4:00 - 5:00 You may attend only one session.

All M. Robinson Lions receive free breakfast and free lunch every day from our cafeteria. Students are welcome to bring lunch from home.

Your child is permitted to bring a healthy snack to school each day. Students will have the opportunity to eat their snack sometime in the morning/afternoon while they are completing work. Students will not be permitted to share with other students. Some examples of permitted snacks include grapes, carrot sticks, pretzels, animal crackers, apple slices, other fruit, cheese sticks, and granola bars. The snack should be easy for them to eat while they continue to work.

Lions may also bring a clear water bottle to class with water. Only water is permitted during instructional time. We have bottle fillers located around the school to help our Lions refill their water bottles during the school day.

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is excited to provide a safe and convenient way for parents/guardians to update demographic information for students that are returning to our schools this year.

This online process will allow parents/guardians to:

• update /confirm your contact information,
• update /confirm information for your student's emergency contacts,
• update/confirm your address (If your address has changed, please be prepared to upload new documents as proof of your new address),
• review student permissions, and
• acknowledge your review of the Student Code of Conduct/Student Handbook.

Beginning the week of July 17, your student’s Annual Student Update is available through your Home Access Center Account. Click the link below.

CFISD Parent Portal

Please refer to this help document on how to get to the Annual Student Update form.

Once you have logged into your CFISD Parent Portal, click on Home Access Center Icon. Click on the Registration Tab in upper right. Click the Update Enrollment Tab, then click on Start next to Annual Student Update.

Please answer all questions. Once you have completed the forms, please click the SUBMIT button. Once you have submitted the form, you cannot make any changes online, you will have to contact the campus directly.

If you need assistance with your parent portal login, please contact the Cy-Fair Customer Care Center at 281-897-4357. A representative is available to assist you Monday -Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD se complace en proporcionar una manera segura y conveniente para que los padres / tutores actualicen la información demográfica de los estudiantes que regresan a nuestras escuelas este año.

INGRESE AL PORTAL PARA PADRES

Los padres deberán hacer las actualizaciones requeridas para los estudiantes que estuvieron inscritos y activos en el CFISD el último día de clase y que regresarán al CFISD para el año escolar 2023-2024.

• Una vez que haya ingresado al Portal para Padres del CFISD, haga clic en el ícono del Centro de Acceso en Casa.
• Haga clic en la pestaña Registration en la parte superior derecha.
• Haga clic en la pestaña Update Enrollment, después haga clic en Start junto a Annual Student Update.
• Responda todas las preguntas. Una vez que haya llenado los formularios, haga clic en el botón de SUBMIT.
• Una vez que haya enviado el formulario, ya no podrá hacer ningún cambio en línea sino que deberá contactar directamente a la escuela.
