Depression

Emotional withdrawal

Most perpetrators are known to the victims.

Sexual harassment is, most of the time, a manifestation of power relations. Women are more likely to be victims of sexual harassment because they more often than men lack power, lack self confidence, or have been socialized to suffer in silence. Women are also in more vulnerable and insecure positions.
