Fundraiser sales are done, on to delivery day, March 12!!!! Thanks for selling to support our 4-H kids in all of their activities!
Have you volunteered to help at delivery day? Many hands make light work. Ask your club leader/fundraiser coordinator if they have enough volunteers to make delivery day go smoothly. Each club needs a few volunteers at the 4-H Building as well as at your club's designated sorting location.
Retirement open house for Nancy Pieske on March 25
Nancy began working for Murray County in the Auditor's Office in March, 1986. She transferred to the Extension Office in May of the following year and has supported Extension programming for the last 35 years!
Please join us at the open house to wish her well in retirement!
Murray County Ambassador Events for March
- Family Fun Fair on March 19 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the MCC practice gym. We'll promote Murray County 4-H; please wear your Ambie shirt and name tag
or
- Cloverbud PJ Party, March 25 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the 4-H Building. Come dressed in your Disney PJs or as your favorite Disney character.
Sunday, April 3 will be our Ambassador Annual Outing; this year we are headed to Sioux Falls. RSVP's are required and drivers will be needed. Check your texts or emails for information on this event.

Murray County Livestock Quality Assurance & Ethics (LQA&E) Training will be held June 9

“Hit Me with Your Best Shot” 4-H Photography Contest
Minnesota 4-H Photography is excited to offer a multi-state photo contest to youth in grades K-13.
Select one photo (with no or minimal editing) that is special to you and submit it with up to three sentences that explains why.
Submit one (1) jpg or jpeg image to fourhphoto@umn.edu by 11:59 p.m. (CST) on March 31, 2022. As this is a multi-state challenge, please make sure to include the participant’s name, grade and state in your email as indicated in the rules.
Volunteer 4-H photography judges will provide feedback via a slideshow. Top photos will be recognized with a prize and random prize drawing winners will also receive a gift.

Steppin' Outdoors with MN 4-H
What’s Your Style? 4-H Clothing & Fashion Revue Workshop
Youth will explore clothing that fits their style as well as different fibers to help them choose outfits that work best for them. They’ll learn how to present themselves in 4-H Fashion Revue. They’ll also hear from an online boutique owner about choosing clothes they love and the online boutique business. We’ll also briefly talk about getting your clothing/fashion revue exhibits ready for the fair.

Llama Club is gearing up for this summer
New Murray County 4-H Volunteer
Join the Extension staff in welcoming new volunteer Jeremy Winters to the Murray County 4-H family. Jeremy's daughters are members of the Bondin Belfast 4-H Club. Jeremy will be taking the shooting sports certifications to help build Murray County 4-H shooting sports program.
